Fabricated entirely of interlocking wooden pieces, the Filigree Table takes inspiration from Chinese wooden structures called Dougongs (Dou Gong). Dougong is essential to the timber frame structure of traditional Chinese building, equally it binds the roof, girders and pillars together to distribute weight evenly.
